Improving the Product

During my internship at Scaffold, I played a pivotal role in advancing our AI email marketing tool tailored for DTC brands. My focus was on enhancing the product to deliver more efficient and personalized email campaigns. This involved a collaborative approach, where I brainstormed and worked closely with engineers, data-science, and growth, ensuring that our solutions met the evolving needs of our clients.

I had the opportunity to create multiple PRDs, laying out the future product roadmap for our platform. One of my most significant contributions was developing an "overview" screen. Initially, our platform excelled at executing and creating email campaigns but lacked tools for planning and organization. I collaborated closely with customers, the founders, and the team to design a new "overview" screen that allowed users to plan campaigns a month in advance and link them to existing campaigns. This feature not only got implemented but also significantly boosted customer satisfaction by clarifying the purpose of each campaign. I thoroughly enjoyed working in a product management capacity, focusing on enhancing our platform, and gained valuable insights from this project.

One of my key contributions was developing a sales dashboard that integrated API calls to provide real-time comparisons of a company’s sales data against forecasts. This tool enabled our clients to quickly identify whether they were over or underperforming, allowing them to make informed decisions on optimizing their campaigns. Additionally, I leveraged the Shopify API and AI to code a Jupyter notebook that conducted time series data analysis of customer behavior. This innovation allowed us to create highly targeted segments, significantly improving the personalization of the emails we generated.

Building a Tech Stack

Beyond product development, I contributed to the strategic growth of Scaffold by enhancing our sales pipeline and participating in the creation of our tech stack. My technical expertise and hands-on approach helped streamline processes, ultimately leading to an increase in client acquisition.

I was instrumental in building our company’s website, ensuring it aligned with our brand’s vision and facilitated seamless user experiences. My involvement extended to improving the sales pipeline, where I identified bottlenecks and implemented solutions that enhanced efficiency and client onboarding. The culmination of these efforts resulted in us landing more clients and solidifying Scaffold’s reputation as a leader in AI-driven email marketing for DTC brands.
